The owners of Gator Rock Bits had just began this company because of a new invention: a truck mounted drill bit, (used in the utilities construction industry for utility poles). Their idea of a logo was a line drawing of an entire alligator breaking a rock in his mouth. Although the intentions that they had made perfect sense, the execution would be lost when reducing the image for small applications. Instead we recommended a look that captured the massive power of the product in a creative manner, while keeping the original idea of the alligator imagery.
