The client wanted a company image that reflected the essence of the Alaskan wilderness. The conclusion was that nothing represents Alaska like the American grizzly bear. However, designing a brand mark (logo) while utilizing the image of an animal is a great challenge. Capturing the image of an animal typically takes great detail, but detail is the enemy of a bold, simplistic logo.
